Dr. Caron Kuessous

As an experienced regular and special education teacher since 1981, Dr. Caron Sitt Kuessous brings a comprehensive set of skills in her role as a private reading and learning therapist and educational consultant. While assisting a variety of students with learning disabilities ranging in age from early childhood until adulthood, Kuessous’ people-centric nature, and compassion have added to her excellent service skills. Dr. Kuessous utilizes current research- based techniques when teaching struggling learners and mentoring teachers. Dr. Caron also served as a former assistant professor at Daemen College, training novice special education teachers. Her proven track record in education, focuses on building strong professional relationships and empowering students to channel their unique strengths to become self- directed, independent learners.

Courses Offered:

Love and Logic Parenting Classes. A 6- part series. Facilitating: Parenting the Love and Logic Way Workshop. Available in person- in my office and in schools.
Early Literacy Development Parent Workshop. A 6- part series. Learn how to develop literacy and skills that are essential for success in school. Geared for young preschool and school age children. Available in person- in my office and in schools.
A Corporate Writing Refresher Course- 3-part series. Refresh all the basic writing skills. Learn everything you need to write well for business, including emails and professional correspondence. Available on – line and in person.

We offer many courses to hone writing skills, train teachers, help struggling learners, and help professionals by utilizing current aligned with the science of reading research based techniques when teaching struggling learners and mentoring parents and teachers.
